Your Name in the PDQ Spotlight: Habitec, Monitronics, Vector Security

You can’t get your name in the PDQ spotlight unless you apply for the award. The deadline for submission of your application is upon us: http://siacinc.org/PDQAwards.aspx.

The last three winners – Habitec, Monitronics and Vector Security – know what it’s like to gain extra brand and company visibility from winning the PDQ (Police Dispatch Quality) award. Their story was told in Security Sales and Integration Magazine, publicized by SIAC and announced at ESX.

Other past winners include HS Technology Group, Custom Alarm, Broadview Security (now ADT), Atronic Alarms (Lenexa, KS), Alarm Detection Systems and Brink’s Home Security. And, Vector won the initial award, along with its more recent 2012-2013 win.

Help the electronic security continue to promote partnerships in public safety. Pull together materials on your progressive alarm management program. Work with local law enforcement to submit documentation of your partnership efforts. Better alarm management practices help your customers, and are a selling point as a differentiator from your competition. We look forward to going through the submissions this year, and thank every company that takes the time to document their programs.
